With the new year comes some big changes to the Noble Violin. Some small changes to like it’s very own url.

I have just left my position at the Orpheus Academy of Music to pursue a my own solo professional experience. My goal is to finish a violin method book, and create accompanying web video lessons. Some of my students have already explored draft versions of the book. Stay tuned for some early drafts of the video project. The videos will be free to view on youtube, and the book, when completed, will be available for paid download.

I have started a podcast, Chasing Sound, by musicians, about music, and for musicians. I host it with my friend Kirk. We are currently interviewing local musicians about their musical histories and playing music with them. Disclaimer: the podcast is intended for adults, sensitive ears may be excluded.

My home studio has seen a few upgrades lately, and I am easily recording my musical ideas. You can find them here. I’m particularly proud of the Christmas song ‘O Come O Come Emanuel’.
